Our story begins with Sofi Tucker, who started selling Shea Nuts at the village market in Bonthe, Sierra Leone in 1912. By the age of 19, this widowed mother of four was selling Shea Butter, African Black Soap, and her homemade hair and skin preparations all over the countryside. The key ingredients in our ultra-moisturizing formula include Cocoamidopropyl Betaine (Coconut Oil Soap), Decyl Glucoside (Coconut Oil), Lauroyl Lactylate (Palm Kernel), Deionized Water, Certified Organic Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Certified Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), an Essential Oil Blend, Avocado Oil, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower and Lonicera Japonica (Japanese Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, and Green Tea Extract.
